They captured Nakhadra—a lion-beastman born with the fiercest life force (Prakriti) in the barren wastelands—and poured boiling gold over his living flesh.

However, the humans severely underestimated the primal wildness of Mother Nature. Despite the excruciating agony, Nakhadra neither died nor submitted. Instead, fusing the boiling metal that dug into his flesh with his own body, he shattered the altar to pieces and slaughtered the fanatics. Now, he roars through the wastelands, wielding the hardened metal armor eternally fused to his bone and flesh as a cursed weapon.

The ancient beast Sharabha, enraged by the humans' blasphemy, sensed the murderous intent of an apex predator in Nakhadra's bloody roar and snatched him into the AOA arena. Sharabha wants this raging beast to tear apart all the arrogant agents of the gods. But Nakhadra refuses to be anyone's 'hound'. To return this universe covered in false providence back to pure nature, even Sharabha, his summoner, is merely a colossal prey he must eventually hunt down.
